Piper's Pedigree

Piper is a very rare lilac torbie Abyssinian. TICA (The International Cat Association) recognizes six main colors (plus the silver versions for a total of twelve colors) for Abyssinians. Lilac torbie is not one of the recognized colors, but can be part of the pedigree of a Grand Champion or International Winner since Piper can produce any color - ruddy, for example.

Piper's beautiful mother Candy is a double Regional Winner and Quad Grand Champion with several more awards to her name including TICA's International Best Chocolate in 2009. Her handsome sire Linc is an excellent example of a sex-linked red Abyssinian, another rare and beautiful color.

Piper has been shown several times in TICA shows and has gotten the Merit ribbon from judges proving that she meets the Abyssinian standard. She has many Merit ribbons from several judges.

Piper has been DNA tested like we do all of our breeding Abyssinians, and is PKDef negative, PRA negative, and is blood type B.

Piper and Rocket had two litters of kittens, and we have a beautiful, sweet ruddy torbie from the second litter to eventually replace Piper as a breeding queen. She is blood type Ab.
